BUG DELAY Microsoft claims Windows 10 file-deletion bug has been FIXED, but it still hasn’t released new update   

New Windows 10 flaws are still being discovered, and Microsoft can only say that a new update will be made available to the public in early November

MICROSOFT has made a new Windows 10 update available to testers, after it pulled a previous update that deleted users' files.

However, despite claiming that its latest fix resolves such issues, additional bugs appear to be preventing Microsoft from releasing the new build to the public.

At the beginning of October, Microsoft released update 1809 of Windows 10, but it was quickly removed from circulation after it emerged that it deleted the documents and photos of a small proportion of users.

Since then, other bugs affecting the update have emerged, including one that overwrites files without warning if a user tries to copy or move a .ZIP file with the same name as an existing file.
